How To Achieve Your Dreams - The Lifestyle of Personal Freedom

Beyond knowing how to achieve your dreams is the actual process and discipline necessary to follow through. The lifestyle of personal freedom opens a virtually limitless number of potential pathways and your deepest desires can be found by following one of these inroads to completion.

You Are Here

Everyone has received some form of coaching regardless of their physical or mental abilities. Without coaching we don't gain an external perspective on http://www.homedeepspace.com where we're at.

Self discipline is the process of internal coaching, personal assessment and personal accountability. The external coaching provides fuel for the internal coaching but when self discipline breaks down you remain where you are.

Looking in the mirror only tells you the current state of affairs but unless you're willing to consistently look in the mirror with the expectancy of change an important part of self discipline is missing.

Why It's Personal

Outside influences are necessary to convince you to accept being held captive. You'll become restless and unsettled the more aware you become of the limitations placed upon you. Yet obtaining independence depends on you more than those external forces.

Certainly some situations create a more difficult climate for people to escape but not only are those unimaginable conditions possible to overcome, they make the best stories and movies because of what they prove; "If they can do it, so can I."

Blame, worry and excuses are all external forces that won't affect the spirit of desire unless you allow them to. They can take your focus away from making the changes necessary to keep moving forward.

The Best Laid Plans

People who successfully obtain their short and long term goals will either tell you they've followed a proven system, or made course corrections on their original plan.

Even in the case of following a system that has allowed others to succeed you should always respect those little variables that allow for customization and modification.

You are chasing your dream and it stands to reason that because you are a unique individual, your plan should account for your personality.

Application and Adaptation

When you decide to drop a few extra pounds or start a new exercise routine you need a progressive point of reference. Indeed you should include this as an accountability step if for no other reason.

Just like you'd weigh yourself periodically or measure the changes in your physical endurance, you'll want to keep a running journal of how you're progressing with your plan. Plans laid out for you will be easier to assess because someone else has already set bench marks for progress.

The practice of keeping yourself accountable consistently pulls your goals closer and closer. Making modifications becomes an art form rather than a nuisance because you've been able to measure your results.

The Last Mile

Breaking down your long range goals will keep you from exhaustion or burn out just like consistently tracking your journey will encourage you to keep going.

Your dream doesn't lose its luster or allure because it's been mapped out and planned with mathematical precision. Instead it comes to life almost out of the gate and you realize the value in the entire process not just the end result.
